Ultra Island Hopper

10 Days

Party, adventure, and cruise your way through Croatia to the awesome Ultra festival!

Life is about the build up. Pre-drinking is as fun as the club. Shopping is as satisfying as wearing the clothes. And the flirting is more exciting than the relationship. This tour has the best build up to one of Europe’s most hip-shakingly good festivals. You spend seven nights sailing to the divine islands, ancient vistas, and secret clubs of Croatia before rocking up to the explosive Ultra festival. The best thing is that the world class DJs, epic fireworks, and crowds of international party animals ensure that this trip never ends with an anti-climax!

We spend 10 days exploring Croatia. We visit Split, Hvar, Mljet, Dubrovnik, Korcula, Makarska, Omis.

10 Day Itinerary

Day 1: Split to Hvar

Your adventure begins as we set sail from Split harbour. Once on board, kick back and relax while your lunch is prepared as we head towards Hvar. Our first dip in the refreshing waters of the Adriatic will take place off the Pakleni Islands, these islands are located opposite the mouth of Hvar harbour. A short journey sees us arrive to Hvar town, where we will have an orientation walk to better familiarise ourselves with the city and its interesting locations including the fortress, the largest city square in Dalmatia, and the yacht Riva. This evening we take in the electrifying nightlife with a party in the Kiva bar (and perhaps one too many Tequila Boom Booms!) and optional entrance to dance the night away to deep house grooves at the Carpe Diem club.

Day 2: Hvar to Mljet

We depart Hvar very early and breakfast will be served as we chase the sun on our morning meander to Mljet. We will be stopping en route for a refreshing swim followed by lunch. We drop anchor in Mljet and you have the entire afternoon to explore the island at your leisure. The island is home to a large national park, with pine forests and abundant nature surrounding two salt lakes. There is biking, swimming, boating, and sightseeing on offer. Happy hour is at 7pm so get the drinks in and prepare for a truly stunning sunset. Then we hope you’ll join us for some fantastic, food, drink, and good times at the optional Captain’s BBQ.

Day 3: Mljet to Dubrovnik

We hoist anchor and set a course for Dubrovnik, breakfast will be served as we make our way to the Croatian coast. We have a swim stop and lunch shortly before arriving in King’s Landing, Westeros (also known as Dubrovnik!). We have an orientation walk to reintroduce you to terra firma and the awe-inspiring sights around you. Explore some surviving renaissance architecture such as the Sponza Palace or partake in a Game of Thrones walking tour of the city and walk the perimeter wall. Tonight explore Dubrovnik’s nightlife and party inside a 15th century fortress at Club Revelin!

Day 4: Dubrovnik to Korcula

Sleep in as we gently depart Dubrovnik early this morning. We will have a swim stop before lunch as we make our way to the island of Korcula. We arrive in the afternoon and have an orientation walk of the medieval Old Town, famous as the historic home of Venetian traveller Marco Polo. We then have happy hour on board tonight before making our way into the Old Town for food and drinks. We have an optional clubbing experience tonight at outdoor party hotspot Boogie Jungle, so the party animals among you should be sure not to miss out on Korcula’s vibrant nightlife.

Day 5: Korcula to Makarska

We set sail early as the Adriatic carries us gently to the coast of mainland Croatia and onward to the city of Makarska. Get the water wings ready as we will be having two swim stops today, one this morning and again after we have enjoyed our lunch. We arrive in the afternoon and have an orientation walk to help you get your bearings and highlight the sights of this amazing location at the base of the Biokovo mountains. Enjoy your free time by checking out the Riviera, getting a massage, doing a spot of shopping or just relaxing in one of the many cafes or bars. Tonight we grab a bite in the Old Town and harness the power to rave in a cave until the small hours.

Day 6: Makarska to Omis

We depart Makarska and head to the town of Omis. Enjoy a swim stop in the morning followed by a delicious lunch. We then arrive in Pucisca on Brac island and after an orientation walk you will have a couple hours to check out the sights. We arrive in Omis this afternoon. Omis is home to Fort Mirabella which you will have the pleasure of exploring shortly. Mirabella was once used as a hideout by pirates and as a defensive fortification, the battlements now make for amazing views and excellent photo opportunities. Quench your thirst after the walking with our on board happy hour tonight. Feel free to join us for the optional Captain's Dinner and Pirate Party tonight should you wish to earn your sea legs and shake yer booty!

Day 7: Omis to Split

Every ending has a beginning and every beginning an end, and today we end off where we began, setting a course for the city of Split. Enjoy your last chance to belly flop off-board at our morning swim stop shortly before lunch is served. We arrive into Split in the afternoon and begin our final night of festivities with an orientation walk of Croatia’s second largest city. See the Diocletian's Palace as you enjoy dinner in the Old Town, which falls within its ancient walls. Tonight we share our final drinks together, and afterwards the city is yours to explore and enjoy for the rest of the night!

Day 8: Split

This morning we check out of the ship and check into our new, less buoyant, land accommodation around lunchtime. Relax in your new accommodations and gather your composure for the night of fun to come or if you’ve still got plenty of fight in you there are numerous optionals available today. Take a short journey to the foot of the Dinara mountain and see the incredible geography of Krka and its many mesmerizing falls! Tonight enjoy another fantastic night of great music and dance with our Busabout team on hand to assist. This is the halfway mark, so if FOMO is a no-no, pace yourself as there is still plenty to come!

Day 9: Split

As the sun rises on the penultimate day of our Croatian adventure, take your time to refuel and make the most of your last full day. It’s your last chance to take a short trip to the surrounding islands, see the beautiful Krka waterfalls, or enjoy a day of cultural enrichment in Mostar. Grab a bite for dinner and make sure you’re ready for the final night, the pinnacle of your Ultra Europe experience! Once more into the fray, as we depart for our final night of festival madness. It’s time to party like there’s no tomorrow!

Day 10: Split

We check out at 9am today, allowing time for a sleep-in as you’re probably feeling a little tender after all the adventures. We hope to see you again. If you’d like to keep the party going, join us on our Hop-on Hop-off network! The next stop is Venice via Zadar.
