Day 1: Budapest

Our adventure starts bright and early in the handsome Hungarian capital with an orientation walk lead by your Busabout guide to help familiarise us with the city, pointing out numerous sights like the neo-Gothic parliament building and the magical Castle District. In the afternoon, we’ll depart for Old Buda Island and our first taste of one of Europe’s biggest and boldest music festivals: Sziget. Spend the remainder of the day soaking up the festival vibes with your fellow party-animals. Go big or pace yourself, the choice is yours. Sziget has oodles to offer and trust us, you’ll want to experience it all.

Day 2: Budapest

Yesterday was intense and this afternoon will be much the same, but before we return to the island of music and magic we recommend recharging your batteries. Try a spot of shopping in the city or delve into Budapest’s vast, varied, and visceral sights. Aching bones holding you back? We offer an optional tour of the largest medicinal bath in Europe: Szechenyi. Here, you’ll feel your vitality returning and your strengths building just in time for a second round of Sziget. We return to the island as fresh-faced musical warriors, here to absorb as much mayhem, music, and merriment as humanly possible. Party long and party hard - we’re at the halfway mark, so don’t hold back.

Day 3: Budapest

Still with us? You majestic party-machine, you. Sadly it’s our final full day, and we know you’re tired, but Hungary still has way too much left to offer! The morning’s yours to experience anything you may have missed in this dynamic city. Take some time to recharge and gather your wits, then treat yourself to a traditional Hungarian meal. Got your strength back? Good, because we’re en route to party island for our final night in Sziget. Give it all you’ve got tonight because tomorrow the party’s over.

Day 4: Budapest

We made it! We ventured into the valley of Sziget and came out the other side bolder, wiser, and with a boatload of new memories. Check-out is after breakfast. We hope to see you again, and if you’re continuing your journey on our Hop-on Hop-off network, the next stop is Split via Zagreb.
