We arrive to the ancient Greco-Roman city whose name was dedicated to the goddess of love, Aphrodite, where your guide will take you around and show you the highlights such as the columns of Aphrodite’s Temple, the massive stadium, the Monumental Gates, and the Odeon. After a couple of hours on site, we enjoy a delicious local lunch and depart onwards to the breathtaking Pamukkale. On arrival your Busabout guide will take you on an orientation walk and up to the viewpoint. Pamukkale or “cotton castle” is known as such due to the layers of white travertine deposits caused by the springs. Have a revitalizing swim in the mineral rich waters and grab a bite to eat in these enchanting surroundings before heading onto our hotel for this evening.
Day 5: Pamukkale to Fethiye
We depart to the stunning coastal city of Fethiye, where we’ll arrive just in time for you to grab a delicious local lunch and explore this fascinating location. As we continue our journey we stop at Sultanhani, just as caravans on the Silk Road have since the Middle Ages. Sultanhani was the original roadside motel and has many stories to share so stay awhile and listen. We make our way to our lodgings for the night where we will be sleeping in a cave hotel. Tonight your guide will take you out for a local feast before you retire for the night in style.
