Day 1
Paris
Get excited, your adventure is about to kick off! Check in and meet your awesome guide, who can give you a tonne of recommendations on what to see in the spectacular French capital. Head out and do some bucket list ticking by climbing the Eiffel Tower and visiting the Louvre, or simply relax in one of the pretty Parisian cafe’s along the canal. Later you’ll meet up with your guide and fellow Busabouters back at the hostel for an included driving tour of the city’s main sights (including the Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame). Tonight, head out and enjoy your first group dinner - be sure to sample some traditional French delicacies! Escargots anyone?!
Day 2
Paris to Les Deux Alpes
Rise and shine! This morning we’re up bright and early, leaving the city behind in favour of snow, slopes and views for days. Board our comfy coach as we set a course for the mountains. Kick back, relax and drift off to sleep, dreaming of the memories to be made ahead. Our expert Busabout driver will take us south, through the rolling French countryside, to the second oldest ski resort in France, Les Deux Alpes. Tonight we’ll soak up the atmosphere of some of the best apres-ski in the world! Think warm chalet bars, sloshing beers and merriment all around. (B)
Day 3
Les Deux Alpes (Days 3 - 7)
We hope you’re ready, five full days of skiing await in this pristine winter wonderland! The time has come to grab our gear and head out to the slopes for an adrenaline-fuelled week of winter sports. Conquer over 220km of sensational pistes and scenic Alpine panoramas at Les Deux Alpes. Require ski lessons or activity advice? Your guide is always free to chat and happy to help in any way they can. Don’t want to ski? There are heaps of other winter activities to keep you busy and views that will take your breath away! Just choose our package option without ski pass. Spend your evenings absorbing the atmosphere of the world famous apres-ski (literally translates to ‘after-ski’). Here the vibe is casual and merry, the drinks are flowing and the company is lively. Watch spectacular sunsets behind snow-capped mountains and party the night away with your fellow Busabouters. What an incredible way to see in the New Year!
Day 4
Les Deux Alpes to Lauterbrunnen
We’ve said goodbye to 2019, and now this morning we bid farewell to Les Deux Alpes and hit the road. But fear not, our next destination is just as stunning! We head to the Swiss alpine paradise of Lauterbrunnen. Sit back and relax with your camera at the ready as we spend the day making our way through the pristine mountain wilderness and across the Swiss border, before arriving at our next picturesque home this afternoon. Spend the afternoon taking in the breathtaking sights and views, or wander the pretty streets of the local town. Work up an appetite, as tonight we’ll enjoy an included traditional Swiss feast! (D)
Day 5
Lauterbrunnen to Munich
Today we bid farewell to the mountains as we climb back aboard our coach and make tracks. Next up, the Bavarian capital of Munich! Get some rest on board before we make our arrival. After checking in to the hostel, your guide will take you on an orientation walk of the historic Old Town. Tonight, you have the option to hit one of the traditional beer halls to enjoy a Bavarian feast, clink some steins and soak in the atmosphere! (B)
Day 6
Munich to Salzburg to Vienna
It’s time for the journey to our fourth country of the adventure - we are Austria-bound! Just before lunch we’ll stop off in the city of Salzburg: the birthplace of a ‘little-known’ musical genius named Wolfgang Mozart. Upon arrival we’ll stretch our legs with an orientation walk, taking in the many wondrous sights of the city. Afterwards, you’re free to grab a bite to eat and explore a little before we board the coach and continue our journey. We’ll arrive in Vienna this afternoon and waste no time in touring the famous Schnapps Museum. Tonight, join us for an optional dinner of delicious schnitzel. Trust us, you don’t want to pass this up! (B)
Day 7
Vienna
Vienna awaits today and you’re free to soak up every inch of this gorgeous, snow-dusted city bursting with history and culture! See the spectacle of the Lipizzaner horses at the Hofreitschule, visit one of the hundreds of local museums, or enter the home of Beethoven. After a spot of lunch, why not visit Mozart’s memorial? Or see the majesty of the imperial palaces of the Hofburg and Schonbrunn, which houses the world’s oldest zoo. There’s so much to see and do in Vienna but remember, it’s always acceptable to take things slow and simply breathe in the eclectic atmosphere of this cultural mecca! This evening, head out for some delicious traditional food and drinks in this vibrant capital. (B)
Day 8
Vienna to Cesky Krumlov to Prague
All aboard our Busabout coach as we continue our exploration of wintery Europe! This time we are heading for the Czech Republic! Our first stop of the day is the bohemian treasure of Cesky Krumlov. Your guide will take you on an orientation walk of the UNESCO-listed Old Town and you’ll catch a glimpse of the massive Cesky Krumlov Castle - the second largest castle complex in the Czech Republic. There will be free time to grab a bite at one of the many local eateries, perfect for people watching and getting your first taste of traditional Czech fodder! Our final destination of the day is the fairytale city of Prague. We’ll arrive in the afternoon and embark on an orientation walk of this historic city before heading for a delicious dinner and a few drinks at a traditional restaurant. Then it would be rude not to head out and experience the city’s eclectic nightlife! (B, D)
Day 9
Prague
Today is yours to explore, experience, and consume every inch of this magical city. See the glorious Prague Castle, visit the Old Town Square and its fantastic festive markets, and see the intricate Prague Astronomical Clock dating back to the 1400s. This city’s like a fairytale, and today it’s your duty to etch its stories onto your heart. (B)
Day 10
Day 10: Prague to Berlin
Every chapter has an ending and today we turn the page on Prague. But our story’s not yet over, as we’re journeying north to the beautiful city of Berlin. This is city is jam packed with history so it will be story time the whole way with your guide. We’ll arrive this afternoon. After check-in head out for free walking tour of Germany’s incredible capital. Tonight, head out into the city for a delicious local dinner and some drinks. Then, venture out into the night and experience Berlin’s renowned nightlife for a final night together! Prost! (B)

Day 11: Berlin
