On this trip, you capture it all. Swan across natural canals in a rustic boat, get charmed by traditional folk music over locally brewed teas, and visit memorial sights from the Vietnam War! Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta (Can Tho)
Your adventure begins at 07:30AM in the bustling heart of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City. Sit back, relax and take in the gorgeous scenery on our air-conditioned transfer as we make our way south to the Mekong Delta and our destination of Can Tho. Shake off the cobwebs as we stop en route to board a rowboat and head upriver to a local farm where you will be serenaded by folk music while enjoying some delicious Vietnamese treats. Upon arrival you’ll be transferred to your cosy riverside homestay surrounded by stunning scenery and meandering canals. Tonight enjoy a homemade feast and a few refreshing beers with your travellers and prepare for the hectic day’s adventure to come.
Day 2
Mekong Delta (Can Tho to Cai Rang Floating Market) to Ho Chi Minh City
Grab an early breakfast as we take a morning meander along the water by boat to the Cai Rang floating market for an experience like no other. Embrace the hustle and bustle of this wholesale marketplace and perhaps do a spot of shopping or simply revitalise with a coffee or coconut from the boat sellers as we cruise the waters. We then head to a local producer of Vietnamese vermicelli and learn the secrets of how it’s made. An optional bike ride through the bucolic bliss of the surrounding area to breathe in the majestic scenery is also on offer if you’re feeling adventurous. We cruise back into Can Tho in time to enjoy a lovely local lunch before returning to Vietnam’s largest city, Ho Chi Minh. We arrive in the late afternoon and the tour ends thereafter. We hope to see you again!
