You drink wine and awe at architecture in Paris, venture to the cities of Munich and Vienna to experience beers and elegance, and spend time in Lauterbrunnen and Grunau rambling over mountains, skydiving through the clouds, and rafting through rivers. Trek to the summit on this trip and expand your mind in the awesome Alps.

10 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Paris
Your adventure begins in the French capital of Paris! Meet with your fantastic Busabout guide and get a feel for the incredible experiences that lie ahead. This evening we venture into the Parisian district of Monmartre to enjoy some refreshing French wine at the steps of the Basilica of the Sacre Coeur, and check out the incredible panorama of Paris visible from this lofty landmark. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure, take a stroll along the glitzy Champs-Elysees and see the grandeur of the Arc de Triomphe, or visit the Eiffel tower and see it shimmer in the night.
Day 2: Paris to Lauterbrunnen
After breakfast it is time to say au revoir to the capital of fashion as we board our luxurious coach and steer towards the sun as we cut a path through the picturesque French countryside before arriving at the Swiss border. We continue onward through the capital city of Bern and marvel at the spectacular Alpine views as we traverse the stunning mountainous landscape of Interlaken before arriving at our idyllic destination, Lauterbrunnen. Tonight we recommend having an early night as there are numerous activities on offer tomorrow in this slice of Alpine heaven.
Day 3: Lauterbrunnen
Head out into the fresh mountain air for a free day to enjoy this surreal location. We have many optionals available today. For the adrenaline junkies we offer the thrill of white water rafting, or why not get a bird's eye view of the region whilst paragliding or even skydiving? Go hiking and explore the harsh beauty of Lauterbrunnen and her 72 waterfalls before heading to the slopes of the Jungfrau region to carve up some powder whilst skiing or snowboarding. Venture to the 'Top of Europe' via the funicular and summit Schilthorn, to visit the Piz Gloria revolving restaurant as featured in 007’s 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' and enjoy the gorgeous views. Join us for an included delicious traditional Swiss meal this evening and share the tales of a day’s adventures with your fellow passengers.
Day 4: Lauterbrunnen to Munich
This morning we board the coach and continue our journey through the town of Lucerne and onward to the German border. This evening we arrive at our destination, the glorious Bavarian capital of Munich. Join us for an orientation walk of the city and stretch your legs as you explore the Old Town and get a taste of Munich’s numerous attractions. Join us for a night of merriment as we indulge in giant steins of refreshing Bavarian beer and hearty local sausages, sauerkraut, and eisbein.
Day 5: Munich
Explore at your leisure today or join us on an included bike tour of the city and visit one of Munich’s biggest beer gardens. See the sprawling greenery of the English Gardens (one of the largest parks in the world), climb the steps and see the impressive architecture of the Cathedral of Our Dear Lady, or simply relax in one of the many fine local cafes. Tonight be sure you don’t miss out on the world-renowned Bavarian cuisine in one of Munich’s numerous beer halls.
Day 6: Munich to Grunau
This morning we say goodbye to Bavaria and head towards the Austrian border and our destination for the day, the sleepy village of Grunau. Keep your cameras charged and ready as we make our mountainous meander towards the stunning Austrian Alps. We arrive in Grunau later this afternoon, so get checked into your accommodation and enjoy the rest of the day as you wish. Relax after a long day’s travel with a refreshing drink, take in the scenery, grab a bite to eat, or head out and explore the breath-taking Austrian countryside.
Day 7: Grunau
Today the day is yours to enjoy as you choose. Head out for a hike or cycle into the mountains and explore the stunning natural beauty of the Austrian wilderness and her many crystal clear rivers. Be sure to find the nearby waterfall and take some snaps of this hidden gem. If that isn’t your style feel free to explore the quiet streets of the village and mingle with the locals or relax in comfort and enjoy a few refreshing drinks at our wonderful Alpine lodge.
Day 8: Grunau to Vienna
Enjoy another morning in the crisp mountain air before we say goodbye to our Alpine hideaway in the afternoon and board the coach to continue our journey through Austria’s picturesque countryside and onto her majestic capital city, Vienna. We arrive in the evening, so once you’re checked in head out for a bit of exploring, see Vienna’s breath-taking architecture and numerous palaces including the UNESCO-listed Schonbrunn Palace or visit the house of world-renowned composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. We meet later tonight for a delicious included dinner and then the night is yours to delve the depths of Austria’s eclectic nightlife.
Day 9: Vienna
Today the capital is yours to explore at your leisure. Your fantastic Busabout guide will be taking passengers for a day of urban exploration to see the sites and learn the incredible history of Vienna’s noble past. If you’ve had enough of the big city lights sign up for an optional bicycle trip into the Wachau Valley, famous for its vineyards and wines, and ride through numerous small towns, visit local wineries and have a refreshing dip in the Danube river. Tonight we meet for an included dinner and to explore the city’s infamous nightlife, so get lost in the Austrian atmosphere and party like there’s no tomorrow.
Day 10: Vienna
Check-out is after breakfast, we hope to see you again. If you’re continuing your adventure on the Hop-on Hop-off network, the next stop Budapest via Bratislava.
