The Alps slice through the skies and cast an influence over all of Europe. They’re also the best place to rave into the night while you look at gorgeous mountainous sights. On this spring trip, we take you from the urban thralls of London into the thrills of the French Alps. Party while wearing a bobbled hat, ski down pristine slopes with a belly full of traditional Alpine food, and get the chance to paraglide, sled, and freestyle!

Day 1
London to Alpe D’Huez
Your adventure begins in the bustling English capital of London. Meet with your fellow passengers and fantastic Busabout guide to learn about the exciting adventure ahead before boarding our coach and setting a southerly course for France. Relax and catch some zzz’s as we make our way across the channel and through the rolling French countryside to our spectacular Alpine destination, the resort of Alpe D’Huez.
Day 2
Alpe D’Huez
We arrive at the mountain pasture of Alpe D’Huez and its world-class ski resort. Get checked in to your centrally located accommodation and prepare for the first night of an epic week-long Alpine adventure. Tomorrow is your first chance to hit the slopes so you may want to rest up for the madness to come, or, if you’re feeling spry, begin the journey by grabbing a drink and partying the night away absorbed in the vibrant atmosphere of the world-class apres-ski.
Day 3
Alpe D’Huez (Day 3 - 7)
The day has arrived, so get your gear and head out to the slopes for a fun filled week of winter sports and a number of competitions. Alpe D’Huez offers something for every level of expertise so experts as well as beginners will find opportunities to test their mettle against the mountain. Speak to your guide should you require anything from advice to information on ski lessons. Spend your nights enjoying the entertainment of the apres-ski, so grab a drink in one of the chalet style mountain bars and dance the nights away. Spend the rest of the week living the dream and see off the winter season with a bang!
Day 4
Alpe D’Huez to London
The time has come. It’s our final day in the sun soaked slopes of Alpe D’Huez. Take in the views and breathe in the fresh Alpine air as you enjoy your last day on the slopes with your new Busabout family. We climb aboard our trusty coach this evening and begin our lengthy journey north, leaving the winter wonderland of Alpe D’Huez as we make our way to London. Relax on board and share your ski resort stories before retiring to rest at ease safe in the hands of our fantastic Busabout driver as we cover ground during the night toward the English Channel.
Day 5
London
We arrive back in London at 4pm where our tour comes to an end. We hope to see you again!

- Days 3-8: Skiing: Few resorts in the Alps match Alpe d’Huez for its suitability at both ends of the skills graph, as well as in the middle. The terrain here is as well suited to experts as it is to beginners (ask your guide for info on ski lessons!), while confident intermediates will have a ball too.
- Days 2-7 Apres-Ski: European Apres-Ski is an institution in itself and as much a part of the Above and Below experience as the skiing itself. Literally translating to ‘after-ski’ you can look forward to sloshing beers in chalet-style mountain bars, which turns into dancing the night away as the sun sets. Above and Below is the ultimate week of Apres-Ski with thousands of students and skiers flocking to Alpe d’Huez to see off the winter season with a bang!

Yes, depending on availability there is no problem to change dates (a small fee applies). If the new date is more expensive the difference will also need to be paid.
