4 Day Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi to Sapa

Your adventure begins under the glow of Hanoi’s city lights with your evening pickup from your accommodation for the short transfer to the Hanoi train station. After ensuring everything is in order your fantastic local crew will be saying goodbye. Fear not! Your knowledgeable local guide will be waiting for you at Lao Cai train station. Board your sleeper train and begin your overnight journey to the eclectic frontier township of Sapa. Kick back and relax as you head north through the scenic Vietnamese countryside and let the hum and clack of the train tracks lull you to sleep.

Day 2: Sapa (Lao Chai Ta Van Villages)

As day breaks we arrive at the station, meet with your local guide before heading off for breakfast in Sapa. Afterwards your guide will lead you on an epic trek through this mountainous region as you explore lush valleys and visit the local villages with a lovely included lunch. Sapa is home to mostly ethnic minority peoples and as such features a unique depth of culture, reflected on the surrounding landscapes. In the evening you head to Ta Van village to meet our gracious hosts and enjoy a night of cultural enrichment in the homestay, including a delicious traditional dinner.

Day 3: Sapa (overnight train to Hanoi)

It’s your last day in this gem of a destination! Recharge your batteries before embarking for an expedition into the surrounding wilderness. Get lost in the natural splendour of Vietnam on this adventurous route through the jungle and its towering bamboo forests as you make your way over rickety bridges to discover majestic cascading falls. Enjoy lunch in this green paradise and breathe in the wild scenery. In the late afternoon you arrive in the village of Supan to catch a bus back to Sapa for a delicious dinner before heading to the train station to catch an overnight train back Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi

This morning you roll into Tran Quy Cap station in Hanoi, where the trip ends. We hope to see you again!
