15 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Berlin to Copenhagen
Your adventure begins with our departure from Berlin as we head to Copenhagen. Sit back and relax on our comfy coach as we meander through the German countryside towards the coast, where we’ll board our ferry and set sail across the Baltic to our Danish destination. We arrive in the late afternoon, so get checked in and prepare for a delicious dinner at the hostel. Afterwards feel free to acquaint yourself with the city at your leisure or join us for an optional pub crawl to experience the nightlife of this incredible city.
Day 2: Copenhagen
This morning, your fabulous Busabout guide will take you on an orientation walk of the city to help highlight the fantastic sights on offer. Spend the afternoon checking out the multiple museums, fountains, parks, and sculptures before grabbing a bite to eat in one of Denmark’s world renowned restaurants or shop until you drop in the maze of eclectic storefronts. For the more free spirited there is also the local anarchist community of Freetown Christiania, located on a former military base and full of interesting architecture and murals. This evening join your guide for a trip to Tivoli Gardens and enjoy the rides in the second oldest amusement park in the world!
Day 3: Copenhagen to Oslo
This morning we make our way to the ferry and continue our journey into the heart of Norway. We arrive in the Norwegian capital of Oslo in the afternoon after a quick stop at the Vigeland Sculpture Park and go on an orientation walk to stretch our legs and see some of the amazing sights that abound in this world-class city. In your free time you can check out Frogner Park, which is home to the exquisite Frogner Manor as well as the Oslo City Museum. This evening explore the vast and varied watering holes on offer in this vibrant city.
Day 4: Oslo
Feel free to relax and recharge your batteries or head out into the city and find the hidden gems down the roads less travelled. Today we offer an optional Viking Biking Tour if you wish to explore the region’s rich history by pedal power. Once you’ve worked up an appetite follow it up by dining like a local on an optional dinner excursion to the mouth-watering Oslo food markets. This evening watch the sunset from the Opera House for a truly stunning view and enjoy the rest of your evening exploring Oslo’s exciting nightlife.
Day 5: Oslo to Stockholm
We say goodbye to Oslo as we make our departure towards the Swedish capital of Stockholm. Keep your cameras at the ready as we will be passing along the northern shores of the largest lake in the European Union, Lake Vanern. We arrive in Stockholm in the afternoon and go out to stretch our legs on an included walking tour. Then, explore the city at your leisure, grab a bite to eat and end the night with a fabulous guided tour of Stockholm’s vibrant nightlife. Drink and soak up the Scandinavian atmosphere as you party the night away!
Day 6: Stockholm
This morning we have an included Vikings Walking Tour. Join us on this trip through the rich local history of seafaring pillagers and learn of the conquests and bravery of these fierce warriors. Take the time to explore the Swedish capital and its many sights on an optional bike tour of the city or explore it under your own steam. Be sure to visit the Old Town and its medieval streets! This evening we offer an optional excursion to an ice bar, so join us for a couple of really cold ones in this unique environment.
Day 7: Stockholm to Tallinn (Overnight Cruise)
Tick off any last minute to-dos and get some shopping done. We’ll meet up at the port this evening to board our ferry and begin our cruise across the Baltic Sea onwards to Estonia. Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner on board and relax as we make our way!
Day 8: Tallinn
Enjoy a delicious breakfast aboard the ferry as we continue our journey across the Baltic. We arrive in Tallinn in the late morning and have an orientation walk to help you better familiarise with all the fantastic sights of the Estonian capital. Explore Old Town and its medieval architecture including numerous churches and the city walls, or check out the iconic wooden houses of the harbour district of Kalamaja. This trendy area is located just off the bay and offers plenty of dining and entertainment options. Immerse yourself in this amazing city and kick your Baltic adventure off in true style.
Day 9: Tallinn to Riga
Today we head to Latvia, with a lunch stop at the seaside town of Parnu, on the Gulf of Riga. Enjoy a local delicacy and the sea breeze before we continue our journey onwards to the Latvian border. As we approach Riga we have a stop at the Sigulda bobsleigh track that was used as a training ground for Soviet-era bobsledders and lugers. Tonight get acquainted with Latvia’s warm hospitality as you explore Riga’s nightlife.
Day 10: Riga
This morning join your Busabout Guide for an orientation walk of the capital city of Latvia to highlight some of the memorable sights on offer in the country's largest city. See the towering Freedom Monument near the Old Town, the incredibly ornate architecture of the House of Blackheads, or just relax in one of the many local cafes for some food and drink watching the day go by.
Day 11: Riga to Vilnius
Next stop: Lithuania. En route we have stop at the ruins of old Trakai Island Castle, which was destroyed by the Teutons in the late 1300s. The castle was never rebuilt and its remains are housed within the church. We arrive into the capital city of Vilnius in the afternoon, get checked in and take some time to relax. This evening we have another delicious optional dinner on offer, followed by an outing to explore the varied nighttime activities on offer in this dynamic city.
Day 12: Vilnius
Join your guide for an orientation walk of Lithuania’s largest city. Check out the remaining battlements of the castle at Gediminas’ Tower, the Gate of Dawn, or take a trip to the neighbourhood of Uzupis: a popular area with local artists, renowned for its bohemian atmosphere. Tonight we have an included traditional dinner prepared so get ready to have a feast in true Lithuanian style before heading out to enjoy the evening.
Day 13: Vilnius to Warsaw
This morning we board our coach and set course for the Polish border. Kick back and relax as we traverse the gorgeous Baltic countryside. This afternoon we arrive on the banks of the Vistula River at our destination of Warsaw. Stretch your legs on an orientation walk and see some of the many sights on offer in Poland’s capital city. This evening explore Warsaw’s historic Old Town and see the tremendously varied architectural styles of the city.
Day 14: Warsaw to Berlin
Every ending has a beginning and every beginning has an end, and today we end off where we began: Berlin! Tonight is our last night together so let’s party like there’s no tomorrow!
Day 15: Berlin
