Day 1

Casablanca

Your adventure begins with your arrival in Casablanca! After a short transfer to the hotel, we’ll have a welcome meeting where you can get to know your fellow passengers and your awesome guide, and get amped for the trip to come. When everyone’s feeling settled in and our stomachs begin to rumble, we’ll enjoy our included delicious dinner. After that, the night is yours to spend as you please! - Dinner included

Day 2

Casablanca to Rabat to Meknes to Volubilis to Fes

We begin our journey to the ‘Athens of Africa’, Fes. First stop is Morocco’s capital city, Rabat! Here we’ll see spectacular patterns and decorations of the Kasbah of the Udayas in the old quarter of town, plus the famous monolithic Hassan Tower. Next, we have a stop en route at the Imperial city of Meknes. Explore the Medina and spend your afternoon checking out the spectacular 12th century Grand Mosque, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and the ornate mosaics of the city’s gates. Grab a bite to eat and prepare for a guided tour of the famous ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. We arrive in Fes this evening. Kick back and relax in comfort, and prepare for a day of exploration as we get to know the city. - Breakfast included

Day 3

Fes

Get excited, this morning we embark on a guided tour of the world’s oldest and largest medieval city. Get lost in the sights and smells of the local labyrinthine souks and do a bit of shopping. See the world's oldest continuously functioning university and explore the dye-pits and tanneries of the UNESCO-listed medina of Fes. Grab a delicious local lunch while you’re out and enjoy the rest of your afternoon in this unique locale. Tonight, we offer an optional night on the town featuring a delicious traditional meal, followed by some cultural entertainment including authentic belly dancing! - Breakfast included

Day 4

Fes to Sahara Desert

We begin our southerly journey into the expansive Saharan Desert! We have an afternoon stop to enjoy a delicious optional Moroccan lunch, then (if the weather allows) we’ll refresh with a dip in the pool. Later we head out to the red sands of Merzouga where we transfer to our friendly, humped mounts for an authentic trek into the desert. Make sure your camera is at the ready, as this is a bucket list experience you’ll want to share! Tonight, we have a truly unforgettable evening under the Saharan stars with the local Berbers enjoying traditional food, drink and music. - Breakfast and dinner included

Day 5

Sahara Desert to Todra Gorge

We wake up amid the dunes this morning before taking our leave of our gracious hosts and departing east for Morocco’s ‘Grand Canyon’, Todra Gorge. We arrive at the gorge in the late morning, and you have the full day to explore. See the incredible sheer cliffs carved out by millennia of water erosion, which have now dwindled to form a small stream. Enjoy a delicious local lunch at the Berber co-operative and check out the numerous handmade rugs, carpets and kilims on offer. Perhaps take some Arabian treasures home! This evening we watch the sunset over the gorge as the fading sun paints the cliffs in a myriad of pastel oranges and blues, before enjoying a delicious authentic dinner. - Breakfast and dinner included

Day 6

Todra Gorge to Ouarzazate to Ait Benhaddou

Rise and shine, we have an early departure this morning as we make our way to our destination for today: the world famous Ait Benhaddou! We have a stop on the way in Ouarzazate, where we offer an optional tour of the film studios. They boast a tonne of impressive projects including Lawrence of Arabia, The Hills Have Eyes, Gladiator and even Game of Thrones! As we make our way along the Ouarzazate river we arrive at the fortified village of Ait Benhaddou. This storied site has been in too many movies to mention and features many a famous kasbah, some still inhabited. Enjoy a guided tour followed by a scrumptious local dinner in this stunning location. - Breakfast and dinner included

Day 7

Ait Benhaddou to Marrakech

Today we head back to where it all began, setting a course for Marrakech straight after breakfast. We arrive around lunchtime, so grab a bite to eat and afterwards enjoy an optional fantastic guided tour of the Imperial City! See the glorious Koutoubia Tower housed within the Koutoubia Mosque, this sprawling compound was built in the 1100s! Delve the depths of Djemaa el-Fna square and the fantastic marketplace located in the city’s historic medina. Tonight, we enjoy our final meal together, so join us for a few drinks and say goodbye to magical Morocco in style. - Breakfast and dinner included
