Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

Prizes: Busabout is offering a grand prize of a custom Adventure Planner trip for two up to the value of £6000. Prize includes: All coach transport on board Busabout, A Busabout guide, Busabout’s recommended accommodation for duration of the trip, Busabout adventures where applicable, Return economy class flights to and from major European city nearest to the starting point on the winning itinerary, from the winners nearest international airport. Busabout will also offer 2 spot prizes throughout the duration of the competition up to the value of £1200 each. Prizes will include: Two x 3 destination stay, including all coach transport on board Busabout and 6 nights accommodation in Busabout’s recommended accommodation. All other expenses become the responsibility of the winner. Spending money, accommodation add-ons, additional taxes, insurance, transfers, items of a personal nature, passports, visas, inoculations, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs not mentioned in prize inclusions are not included.

Eligibility criteria for entrants: The Adventure Planner competition is open to individuals (Eligible Persons) who: are at least 18 years of age at the commencement of the Competition Entry Period; hold a valid passport (with at least six months’ validity at time of departure) and are not barred from entry into Europe and assume responsibility for their own travel visas and documentation as required for travel, are not (and none of their immediate family or people they are living with are) employees, officers, directors or agents of Busabout or any sponsor associated with the Competition. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin; or do not have any criminal convictions.

How to enter: In order to enter the Competition, individuals must take the following steps during the competition period: Entry for the Competition opens at 12:00 (GMT) Friday, January 17, 2020 and closes at 23:59 (GMT) 30 March 2020. The Entrant must enter via this URL: https://www.busabout.com/campaigns/win-your-perfect-eurotrip. The entrant must design a trip to Europe using the Adventure Planner tool at https://www.busabout.com/trips/builder, Entrants must say why they want to win using the form provided, The entrant must enter their first name, last name and email address for their entry to be valid. The entrant must agree to have read the Terms & Conditions of entry and by entering the competition agree to join the Busabout database to receive electronic communication. To complete their entry, the Entrant will need save their itinerary and enter their contact details for unique adventure link.  The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to disqualify any Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry process. Entrants acknowledge that their personal details will be stored and used by the Promoter in accordance with Busabout’s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.busabout.com/privacy-policy.

Determination of Winners: The winner of the prize will be selected by a panel of expert judges at Busabout Global Headquarters in London, United Kingdom on April 13, 2020. Entries will be judged on the following criteria: Creativity of entry itinerary, Detail of entry itinerary, Creative response why the entrant wants to win. The prize draw will be announced on April 14, 2020 via email to applicants. The winner will be contacted by the email address provided in their corresponding entry. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason the winner does not take / redeem the prize (or an element of the prize) at/by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited. Neither cash nor other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of the forfeited whole or part of the prize.

General entry conditions: In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority. Busabout requires comprehensive travel insurance be taken out at the winner’s expense, with coverage for medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, gear, money and public liability before departure. Insurance details need to be provided to Busabout 14 days before first departure date. Any incidents or issues that occur while travelling with Busabout which results in the need of the travellers to make claims on their insurance is at the traveller’s own discretion and action. Busabout will take no responsibility for insurance claims related to travel on Busabout trips. Winner and his/her companion must travel on the same departure date and itinerary for the entirety of their prize. Flight carrier and times will be booked at the Promoter’s discretion and airline or status credits do not apply to these tickets. Flights are subject to the fare rules and General Conditions of the carrier airline. The Winner is responsible for the payment of any applicable airline excess baggage fees or other fees, taxes and surcharges. The Winner and their guest will not be entitled to accrue frequent flyer points on the travel or accommodation. The Promoter and The Partners are not responsible for any cancellation, delay or rescheduling of flights and any costs incurred as a result (including, without limitation, accommodation costs) will be the sole responsibility of the Winner. All ticketing is electronic and paper tickets will not be issued. No changes to the booking will be accepted once accepted and confirmed. Any change costs will be the responsibility of the prize winner. Should any amendments need to be made to confirmed flights due to unforeseen circumstances or otherwise, these changes will be made at the cost of the prize winner in line with their Travel insurance provider. Flights can only be used in conjunction with the trip prize. The Grand Prize Winner will not receive any compensation if actual retail value of trip is less than projected approximate retail value.
