Meet with your fantastic Busabout guide and get a feel for what’s to come before getting straight into the local culture with an included street food crawl for dinner. Get lost in the tastes and smells of the delicious dishes on offer ranging from the amazingly tasty bun cha noodle dish, to unique egg coffee. Once you’ve tried a tonne of tasty delicacies we head off to the international corner to experience a local institution, the refreshing taste of the daily-brewed and preservative-free draught beer Bia Hoi. Later, you’re free to explore the local bars as you get to know your new Busabout family. - Dinner included

Day 2

Hanoi to Mai Chau

Onwards to the jaw-dropping beauty of Mai Chau! Take plenty of pics as we make our way through the shimmering green patchwork of rice fields dotted with rustic stilt houses. We’ll be stopping at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Mai Chau valley! Once we arrive, we’ll get to sit down and enjoy a scrumptious included lunch at our stilted accommodations before heading out on an included bicycle tour of the area with a local guide. You have a full day to explore the wilderness of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. You can venture out on your own if you wish, but we highly recommend joining today’s optional excursion! If you join us, we’ll begin our caving adventure amidst the jaw dropping beauty of Paradise Cave; discovered a mere 13 years ago, this is the longest dry cave in the park and features some truly majestic natural structures inside. We emerge into the daylight and have a tasty lunch before catching Vietnam’s longest zip line to our next destination: the pitch black, mud filled Dark Cave! Spend some time playing in the mud and messing around in the light of the torches. When we emerge, you can have a splash around in the river to clean off and cool down! Tonight, join us for an optional dinner. - Breakfast included

Day 5
