Day 1 - Sat 5th July

SAN SEBASTIAN

The first day of your tour starts at 19:00pm at the Zibbibo Pub in San Sebastian, where you will meet your Guide and fellow travellers.  There will be a general meet and greet, you will be issued with ID cards (essential for getting on-board the Pamps transfer coach!) and given a general overview of the trip and tantalise your travelling taste-buds with whats to come!  Have a sangria on us, and try the local tapas - know as pintxos in the Basque country!

Day 2 - Sun 6th July

9am SAN SEB – PAMPLONA

Shuttle to Pamplona (approx 1hr) for the opening ceremony. This commences at 12pm in the square outside the Town Hall. Enjoy the festivities! Champagne, sangria & egg throwing! Be sure to buy your Pamplones outfit there – white pants & shirt with red scarf!

16.00 PAMPLONA – SAN SEB

For those who wish to head back to the hostel in San Seb to shower, change & siesta, they can jump on the afternoon shuttle.

20.00 SAN SEB – PAMPLONA

It’s an all night party in Pamps tonight, so get back on the shuttle and head back down to enjoy the fun! Late arrivals, or for those making their own way to San Seb today, can jump on this shuttle to enjoy the fiesta.

24:00 (midnight) PAMPLONA – SAN SEB

The party is all night, so stick around until the morning if you have the stamina. For those who’ve been at it all day, they can head back to the hostel to sleep in a real bed – but only for a few hours!

Day 3 - Mon 7th July

04.00AM SAN SEB – PAMPLONA

That’s right! Early morning transfer to Pamps so you can get your place trackside for the first run ‘encierro’ for Sanfermines 2008. The run starts at 8.00am, but you need to claim your viewing space early. If interested in running, you need to present yourself to organisers at the start line 1 hour before the encierro.

10.30AM PAMPLONA – SAN SEB

If you partied all night, or just came down to see the run this morning, this is your chance to jump on the shuttle back to San seb. Spend the day on the beach, wander around the old town in San Seb – your Guide will have loads of suggestions for how to fill your day when you return!

17.00PM SAN SEB -  PAMPLONA

Head back down to Pamps if you wish to try your luck at getting tickets for a bullfight! They are held each night of the festival.

12.00AM (midnight) PAMPLONA – SAN SEB

Head back to San Seb, or stay out all night with the locals and party revellers!

Day 4 - Tue 8th July

04.00AM SAN SEB – PAMPLONA

Head back down to see the 2nd run of the festival. Perhaps this time you might want to participate, or this time watch from inside the bullring so you can view the shenanigans at the end of the race when the runners and bulls are in the ring together.

10.30AM PAMPLONA – SAN SEB

Last Busabout shuttle back to San Seb. Enjoy the day on the beach, and enjoy a great value ‘menu del dia’ at the many restaurants opened in the old town for lunch.
Zibbibo bar is hosting the Busabout/San Fermin end of tour party tonight! A complimentary sangria and chupito (shot) is on offer!

Day 5 - Wed 9th July

After breakfast, your tour ends.
(Those with a Flexi or Western Loop Busabout pass can leave at 8am for Bordeaux, Tours or Paris)
