Day 1: London To Germany
It's an early start this morning to meet with your 'Fest-mates and Busabout crew at Stansted Airport - but don't worry in 2 hours you will be in Germany! Once you arrive and are met by your Crew you will be whisked off in an air-conditioned coach to Munich and the famous city-centre Wombats Hostel. Your Crew will take you through the plan for the next few days, sit back and let them get you excited about what's to come. Your Crew are all seasoned travellers and will make sure you get the best of what Oktoberfest has to offer. After check-in, join your Guide for a Munich orientation walk, explore the city, or simply get ready for a big night out. Meet at the Wom-bar in the evening for a free drink in preparation for the next days events!
Day 2: Oktoberfest Celebrations Begin!
Let the fun begin! Your guide will take you all down to the Oktoberfest grounds which is a short walk from our hostel accommodation. The opening parade starts at 11am - dont fear, your guide will make sure you will be in the right place at the right time. The tents open at midday and the beer starts flowing.
Day 3: More Partying At Oktoberfest!
Head down to The Oktoberfest grounds for another day! If you wish to do some sightseeing before heading down for your tour, your Guide will assist you in planning daytrips to Dachau, Neuschwanstein castle (Disney castle), English Garten, or the Nymphenburg Palace.
Day 4: Free Day To Sight See!
Your final day at the festival - you are free to explore all the tents or further afield if you can't stomach another litre of beer. Optional day trip to visit Neuschwanstein Castle and Swan Lake.
Day 5: Munich To London
Depart Munich late morning for Stuttgart, where you have the opportunity to check-out this cool Swabian city before your flight back to London. After an orientation walk, your Guide will suggest a local beergarden for a late lunch, or perhaps you want to check-out some of the local attractions and fab shopping. In the late afternoon you will then be transferred to the airport for your flight home. Arrival time at London Stansted is at approx 7.30pm.
