Festivals mean different things to different people. To some it’s a chance to cover their naked bodies in luminous body paint. For others it’s about big hugs with sweaty people. And to a few people it’s just about getting totally lost in the music. That’s what we love about Sziget. It’s got something for everybody. Check out Sziget and experience one of the most eclectic festivals in the world.

Meet your Busabout festival guide at wombats at 9am , get yourself orientated around the city of Budapest and its amazing history. Our orientation will set you up with info on transport, tickets, sights, eateries and drinkeries, clubs and of course the island of freedom, where Sziget takes place. Your guide will run you through all the highlights, such as the thermal baths, river cruising, and the quirky 7th and 8th districts where you'll be living whilst at Sziget. The Sziget festival kicks off this afternoon with loads of stages and artistic areas, so all roads lead to the island.
A chance to rest this morning, plan the day ahead at Sziget. Maybe a reviving thermal bath, or a good meal of goulash will get you back on your feet. Once again its your choice as to how you approach the festival our guide will assist. Sziget was set up as a result of the fall of communism and the traditional summer camps loaded full of communistic activity. The festival embodies all round entertainment, however the evenings have now become famous with music. (B)
Once again rest after the exertions of the previous evening. There are so many cool bars set up in gutted out buildings, so this afternoon evening is a chance to warm up for Sziget with a little walk around the 8th and 7th districts. Its then to Sziget for night 3. (B)
Check out by 9am back to the coach network or stay a little longer and check our Eger or take a night boat cruise along the Danube. (B)
