Day 1: 5 July
Check into your hostel anytime from 2pm. Tonight your Guide will take you on an orientation walk and a pintxos crawl of San Sebastian and arrange a meet and greet at a local bar. You'll be given a general overview of the trip and have your travelling taste-buds tantalised with what's to come. Have a sangria on us and try the local tapas, known as pintxos in the Basque country!
Day 2: 6 July
It's an early start so grab some breakfast then jump on the shuttle to Pamplona for an orientation walk before the Opening Ceremony. Get ready for San Fermin! The ceremony commences at noon in the Town Hall square when a rocket kicks off the fiesta. Cava, sangria and egg throwing!Grab an afternoon shuttle if you wish to head back to the hostel to shower, change, siesta or party. Or stay in Pamplona with your Guide and see how the locals really party.
Day 3: 7 July
Super early morning transfer to Pamps so you can get your place trackside for the morning's bull run. The run starts at 8am, but you need to claim your viewing space early. If interested in running, you need to be at the start at least one hour before. .We have shuttles running between San Sebastian and Pamplona so if you partied all night, or just came down to see the run this morning, you have the chance to spend the day on the beach and wander around the old town in San Sebastian. Our shuttles run late into the night so plenty of time to enjoy the festivities.
Day 4: 8 July
Last early morning shuttle to Pamplona to see your second bull run of San Fermin. Perhaps this time you might want to watch from inside the bullring so you can view the shenanigans at the end of the race when the runners and bulls are in the ring together. After the run we head back to San Sebastian to chill on the beach, before heading into town for the Busabout San Fermin party!
Day 5: 9 July
Trip finishes after breakfast and check-out is at 9am. For those hopping back on the Busabout network, check out by 7.30am
Would I do it again?....its already my third time!"
