And of course this wouldn't be a Busabout trip without our guides' awesome night-time antics: kicking off with a big dinner, and on the following night our guides' legendary pub crawl. There are few places in Europe that can have such a good reason for a pub crawl: 350 beers brewed in Belgium and only 2 nights. Choose wisely.

Departure point & Check-in time: Eurostar Terminal St Pancras Station on 15th Dec. Meet your Busabout representative at 6.15am, in preparation for the 7.00am train.
In true Busabout style this trip is all about flexibility and freedom. If you want to do your own thing then feel free to explore and shop and drink and eat till your heart's content - there is plenty on offer (plus it will be freezing: fantastic excuse for another waffle). Travellers come from far and wide to find that special little something for the important people in their lives. The main square, with its huge Christmas tree and ice-rink in the middle, is lined with stalls selling hand-made arts & crafts as well as mulled wine and other festive treats to keep the cold at bay! On the other hand if you are looking for a group experience then our guide will be organising orientation tours, visits to local Breweries, Chocolate Museums and other historical sites as well as keeping you up until the wee small hours partying hard.

Day 1 - Sat 15 Dec
6.15am Meet at St Pancras station in London at the Eurostar terminal. Your Busabout Guide will be waiting there with your tickets and will escort you through check-in. Don't forget your passport!
7.00am Train departs. One change at Brussels, then on to Bruges. Transfer from Bruges station to our hostel.
12.00pm Check-in at Snuffels Hostel in Bruges. Throw your gear into your allocated dorm room, and meet in reception for one of Belgiums famous fruit beers! Your Guide will give you a run down on what will be happening over the next few days, then take you on an orientation walk of Bruges. We'll stop at the Christmas Markets for mulled wine, hot chocolate with rum, frites & waffles. Fancy ice-skating? Or perhaps get a birds eye view of the city by climbing the bell tower. Evening group dinner, head back to the hostel bar and try more of those famous belgian beers!
Day 2 - Sun 16 Dec
Late morning we will head over to the De Halve Maan brewery for a tour and free tasting. Optional activites in the afternoon include visiting the Flanders Fields infamous battlefields of the "Great War"; visit the Choco-Story chocolate museum, or spend the afternoon exploring Bruges. In the evening we will meet for your Guide's own pub crawl - there are 350 + beers produced in Belgium!
Day 3 - Mon 17th Dec
This morning we will check-out of the hostel and head to Brussels. Your Guide will take you to Brussels' infamous Grand Place. Wander around the old town, visit the Brussels christmas market stands, and see the Manekin Pis. At 18.00pm our Eurostar train will depart Brussels to take us back to London St Pancras, arriving 19.00pm local time.
