Ha Long Bay
It’s the scale of it. Over 2000 of them they dominate the horizon for miles on end. These vibrant green, brown and grey eruptions from the sea are like candy to the eyes. On this trip you sail amongst these famous karsts and also get to play in all the bits inbetween. Visit villages, venture far off the tourist trail, and party on at the on-board bar. This is one boat journey you’ll never forget.

Day 1: Hanoi to Ha Long Bay
Early pick up from the hotel to arrive at Ha Long Bay for lunch. Get acquainted with your cabin, enjoy a welcome drink, introduce yourself to the blue sea and gobble your lunch on route to some impressive caves. After lunch we visit 'Vung Vieng' village by rustic row boat; you'll meet the local people who'll help you row the boat, then kayak or swim in the beautiful water around the islands. This afternoon learn how to make spring rolls, then eat them while enjoying happy hour on the deck. Dinner on board the boat. (L,D)

Day 2: Ha Long Bay
Early riser? Why not get up for some Tai Chi on the deck. Otherwise get up for breakfast and head out for some kayaking and swimming at the Three Peach Beach. If the weathers good you can kayak through an amazing tunnel carved under a limestone mountain. But don’t expect Palm Beach or 'Chariot’s of Fire' style beaches. These are tiny little specks of white sand hanging off the edges of karsts. Tonight, enjoy your tasty Vietnamese dinner, and then let's do as the locals do and karaoke the night away. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Ha Long Bay to Hanoi
It’s your last day in this majestic and beautiful area. Feel free to go for early morning Tai Chi again. This morning we'll head to Sung Sot cave (when it's relatively quiet). We'll then set sail back to the mainland, enjoying lunch on the way. The scenery is as beautiful as ever, so make the most of it while you can. You should be back at the hotel late afternoon (in time to check in for your Vietnam Adventure). (B, L)
