There's something a bit magical about the Spanish island of Ibiza. Just the name of the world's party capital conjures up images of infamous and extravagant superclubs set on paradise shores with the world's best DJs playing every night of the week.
But it's a little bit more than this... The inspiration for the club culture of a whole generation of party people, even back in the 70s, was a hedonistic hippy Mecca with its devoted followers returning year after year, captured by its spell. They'd tell you the legend of how Ibiza lies on ancient Celtic energy lines and they may just be right. There's definitely something in the water here - after all, there are lots of party islands around the world but there's only one Ibiza. Sitting at the legendary Cafe del Mar watching the sunset over the Mediterranean, hitting the dance floor at the world's largest nightclub Privilege, partying at Space as the sun rises over the Terrace and the DJ drops that special tune, or dancing on deck aboard our Busabout sunset party boat cruise – you're bound to have one of those 'reality check' moments, captured by this Balearic buzz, pinching yourself, smiling and realising 'I'm in Ibiza!'

Monday
The first day of the week and what better way to kick it off than the brand new most talked-about night of 2012 - A State Of Trance with Armin van Buuren at Privilege, as the biggest club in the world plays host to one of the biggest trance DJs around!
If trance is your thing but Van Buuren's not your man check out the legendary Tiesto at Pacha, for serious beats, swank tunes and an unbeatable night. Celebrating its 13th year, Cocoon at Amnesia (hosted by Sven Vath and home to Cocoon heroes including Ricardo Villalobos, Dubfire and Richie Hawtin) promises a host of new talent for 2012, whilst Circo Loco at DC10 rounds off the line up in awesome Italian-inspired style - an incredible start to the week the Ibiza way.
Tuesday
Tuesdays are one of the biggest nights on the island and you'll soon see why. Will it be the Pukka Up Boat Party with Carl Cox at Space or Together at Amnesia? Yes... it's a Tuesday night and Space is calling - arguably the gem in Ibiza's glittering array of super clubs, with its legendary terrace and the equally legendary Carl Cox promising a night like no other. After the pre-party and incredible sunset boat party we'll be sure to miss none of the action as we head to Space, or alternatively there’s Together at Amnesia, for a world class line-up of electro, dub step and drum and bass for when trance just isn’t enough!
Wednesday
One of the most spectacular places to go in Ibiza, where famous DJs made their names and home to some of the best bars around, this evening we’re heading to the Sunset Strip! Cafe Del Mar, Cafe Mambo and Kanya to name but a few, so get ready for top tunes, fire throwers and the best sunset in the world. Tonight you have options galore - Ibiza Rocks lies waiting, where stars like Zane Lowe, Professor Green and Maverick Sabre grace the decks, or check out US superstar DJ Erick Morillo bringing his sexy subliminal sessions party to Pacha for one of the island's best house nights. Past guests range from Swedish House Mafia to Deep Dish, P Diddy to Tommy Lee and this year’s line-up includes Chucky, Ryan Marciano and Danny Tenaglia – choices, choices!
Alternatively you can head to a party like no other at the Zoo Project, an old abandoned zoo which started life as a venue for exclusive island staff parties but later took shape as a clubbing phenomenon in its own right. A whole village of entertainment: expect colourful animal costumes (and that's just the guests!), fire dancers, neon lights, tribal house music and a very unique party experience!
Thursday
Thursday sees you spoilt for choice on the white isle, with three massive nights at three incredible venues…
Following the massive success of last summer's "F**k me I'm famous" parties, David Guetta continues to hosts his world class night at Ibiza town super club Pacha. Expect superstar guests, big 'choons' and one of the largest nights of your life!
For Trance fans and club kids alike, there’s Cream at Amnesia. Being one of the very first clubs in Ibiza (even Bob Marley played here back in the 70's, but it’s more recently known for some of the world's craziest foam parties), it's no wonder the 'Temple of Sound' has been voted the world's best club in all manner of polls and charts. Hosted last year by the German trance god, Paul Van Dyke, this year’s line-up promises to be as legendary as ever with Above & Beyond, Sander Van Doorn, Calvin Harris, Laidback Luke and Eddie Halliwell all confirmed for the 2012 season.
Winners of the Best Urban Club Night award and voted one of the top 50 club nights of ALL TIME, fans of Urban music need look no further, as Es Paradis plays host to Twice as Nice for the best Thursday of your life! Break-dancers and aerial stunts aside, previous acts include megastars Busta Rhymes and Sean Paul, with UK talent standing proud with the likes of Professor Green and Chipmunk taking to the stage. 2012’s line-up is TBC, but check back soon for details of what promises to be a seriously sexy season, and an Ibiza club night like no other.
Friday
On Friday Pukka Up Boat Party kicks off the evening in style before we head to the 21MillionEuro beach club Ushuaia with a host of acts TBC, whilst one of the godfathers of House music, Pete Tong, hosts his Pure Pacha night at the glamorous and 'no expense spared' Pacha club. In the past Pete’s invited guests from Calvin Harris to Fat Boy Slim, so expect similar line ups with a glittering array of performers and dancers, plus world class house music until the morning light!
Saturday
Defected at Pacha continues in 2012, bringing deep and funky house to Ibiza Saturday nights. Bob Sinclar, David Morales, Dennis Ferrer, 2000 and one and Rae are amongst a huge line up of superstar legends, with Defected vowing to represent every dimension of house music and creating an unbelievable night in the process – if you love house, on Saturday nights Defected at Pacha is the place to be.
Alternatively tonight we can get wild at the Zoo Project - a whole village of entertainment and a very unique party experience! Then it's off to the biggest club in the world – Privilege. Starting life as the Ku club during the 80's from wild and hedonistic roots, this was Europe's greatest discotheque and its legacy most definitely continues...brace yourself!
Saturdays also see Hed Kandi celebrating its 10th year of residency in Ibiza at Es Paradis, with resident DJ Ben Santiago joined by artists Treasure Fingers, Sarah Louise and Krystal Roxx to name just a few – if Disco’s Revenge in 2011 was awesome, Hed Kandi Saturdays in 2012 will be epic!
Sunday
On Sundays the party continues and tonight's the night to check out legendary nightclub Space for one of the Island's favourite Sunday sessions, 'We Love Space on Sundays'. Looking for dance music? UK dance DJ legend Judge Jules continues at Eden with his longstanding and ever popular Judgement Sundays, whilst Luciano and Cadenza at Pacha continue to wow the Sunday scene with ‘Vagabundos’, for a house and techno party that will play host to artists including DJ Sneak, Robert Dietz and Frivolous, to name but a few – Sundays have never been so good!
