Once you have decided on the best pass you can start booking your accommodation and bus journeys through MyTrip.
MyTrip
This is your part of the website. When you book you'll receive a client reference number which is unique to you (it'll be on your e-ticket which is emailed to you after payment). If you book with one of our travel agent buddies around the world they can either send the e-ticket direct to you or they will print it out and hand it to you once you're confirmed to travel. This ticket is important as you will exchange it for your Busabout pass on your first day so don't leave home without it.
Registering with MyTrip is easy - just click on the MyTrip icon at the top of the home page and enter your details. At this stage you'll need to give yourself a password to keep your bookings all safe and secure. Now you can book your buses till your heart's content! We would advise booking as much of you trip as you can. These bookings can always be changed if you have a change of heart however if you are planning to travel in peak season or around the big European festivals get the bookings in early.
Accommodation bookings take a 10% non-refundable deposit via credit card - you then pay the difference direct to the hostel when you get there. You can rest assured that booking your accommodation through MyTrip will be cheaper or similar price to buying direct. Changes to bookings are at the discretion of the accommodation owners and you must contact them direct - some are more accommodating than others but they are within their rights to not refund deposits. Saying hello in their language and a bit of charm goes a long way!

On board technology
The first time you jump on one of our big blue buses you'll receive your Busabout Travel Pass. This holds your personal information and all the details of your booking. Every time you board the bus you'll need to have this pass with you so make sure you don't lose it.
This means we know roughly where you are at any given time (which may keep worried parents slightly happier!) Our guides hand-helds also mean that you can make journey bookings on the bus at any time (providing there is availability) giving you complete freedom.
