What to pack?
In addition to the clothes and things you normally travel with, we suggest you pack the following items as it can be a bit nippy in Lapland. Temperatures vary between -3 C to -30 C! So, to ensure you don't freeze please make sure you have these in your backpack:
- Thermal underwear
- Warm & sensible shoes/boots with thick soles
- Thick socks, preferably woolen/thermal
- Thermal fleece
- Padded warm outer clothing (jacket and pants)
- Scarf
- Thick thermal gloves
- Hat (preferably one that covers your ears so they don’t fall off)
- Swim suit + a pair of socks for the sauna party
- Sun glasses (for those sunny winter days)
- Lip balm
- Duty Free Vodka (the essential anti-freeze)
- Adventurous spirit
Note: Towels and linen will be provided at all the Hostels,Cabins,Saunas,Train sleeping berths etc.
