We are particularly proud of our big blue buses. Whilst that may make you think we are a bit strange, once you have travelled around Europe in unparalled bus-luxury you will become rather protective of them too.
Whether it's the shiny alloy wheels, pimped-up tinted windows or just the extremely proud driver who makes them shine and sparkle for each new day you'll always remember your big blue bus.
Comfort

Some of the days on the bus will be long, some will be very short - it depends where you hop on and hop off. We would encourage you to see some of the small destinations as not only do you discover some of our favourite destinations (Cesky Krumlov, Salzburg, Gruenau, Cinque Terre) but you keep the travel days shorter. However even if you do have a long day you will be in supreme comfort. The buses have reclining seats and plently of leg room (just ask the person behind before stretching out!).
Keeping you entertained

Choice is an important word for us here at Busabout - it is the founding concept behind what we do and it is what defines independent travellers: you decide what you do and when you do it. So on our buses you will not get the guides telling you what to do every second of the day. Instead we leave it up to you - if you want to hang out with your new-found travel-mates up at the back to recount tales of the massive beer-burping contest you had in Munich - go crazy. If you want to chill and catch up writing the journal - you're welcome to. At the same time if you want to listen to music or watch a movie you can. Just like on flights we have audio plugs on every seat so when we play movies not everyone has to watch and you dont have to be quiet.
No worries
One of the stresses of travelling independently is worrying about your gear. The average backpacker today carries around an astonishly expensive array of electronic gadgets (have you heard the term flashpacker before!?). Never mind the gizmos - with a semi-decent pack and travel gear costing hundreds of Euros it’s no wonder you will want to have it within arms-reach. Of course when you are on the bus all your stuff is locked up underneath and only your driver can get to it – so sit back and relax.
You are with a select band of travellers too - only bona-fide backpackers travel with Busabout, so you don’t need to worry about opportunist thieves who tend to plague the train network. In the hostel dorms you will also be placed with fellow Busabouters as much as possible so you can feel more secure in your accommodation. Of course if there are any complaints about anyone on the Busabout network you can be sure swift action will be taken on the spot by our Crew- or if necessary their passes will be cancelled by management.
